Close Enough Costs More: Focal Tweeters, LED Light Bars, and the Real Cost of Vague Specs

But the standard doesn't help with depth. So measure the opening, not the old radio. Remove the trim ring, measure height and width in millimeters, then measure depth from the front of the dash to the wiring cavity. Compare that to the radio's chassis depth, not the faceplate dimensions. If you skip this, you're guessing.

Ask the questions that turn a product name into a part number. What are the exact dimensions? What is the fitment? What is the return policy? How much current does it draw? What is the mounting system? If the answer is 'it should work,' that's not an answer. It's a red flag.
